Matt Henderson

He was in a motorcycle road racing accident in 1999 which resulted in the amputation of his right leg in 2001.  He immediatly pursued the new goal of becoming a triathlete.  Since 2003, he has completed the SDTC Half-Ironman, the Xeterra off road triathlon, and four Olympic Distance Triathlons including 2005  USAT PC National Team that will go to the Beijing Paralympics in 2008.  He also serves as a mentor for the Challenged Athletes Foundation and is a Certified Peer Visitor for the Amputee Coalition of America.
